The G-Force Source: New Year, New G-Force

Welcome to 2018! One chapter has been completed and a new one begins. What are you going to make of it? Are you going to do the same ol’ thing, same ol’ routine? It may have worked for you previously but the idea of an end and another beginning means change and to us at G-Force; it means better, new and more. 

In late 2017, G-Force added to its prolific coaching staff with two new reputable coaches who live and love CrossFit. They share the same positive views and ideals that we boast about and they bring something fresh to our gym. We brought in new equipment, and all the new stuff continues this year. We’ve just stocked up on new men’s bars for your new personal bests this year to go alongside our new women’s bars for plenty of lady-PBs.

We’re excited to announce, starting January 29th, our brand new added classes. We’re going to be the most active and open gym in the Sutherland Shire with 41 coached classes every week. Monday-to-Friday, we’re changing our open gym to a coached class and Thursdays now are open to coincide with the other days, but there’s a twist: Thursdays will now comprise of a focus on core and cardio-based workouts; no barbells, no heavy lifting, just core and heart-pumpers. CrossFit experience is not a requirement for Thursdays which provides the opportunity for you to bring a friend or family member to G-Force to train alongside you.

Despite G-Force being open to more classes each week, remember to rest. We have faith that you will listen to your bodies and rest accordingly. Otherwise, you run the risk of facing the over-training demon and he’s capable of doing very mean and horrible things to your body if he is summoned. Plan your training weeks and plan your rest.

To add to the already extensive new schedule, there will now be two gymnastics-based workshops every week. A large part of CrossFit consists of gymnastics and these new workshops provide you the opportunity to better your skills.

Don’t sit back this year and be the same. Be better, be fitter and be stronger to help tackle life’s hurdles with ease. Achieve these feats at G-Force with our trusted programming, our trusted coaches, our trusted ideologies and our new classes and workshops in 2018. Be active, be committed and we won’t fail you.
