28 Nov The G-Force Source: develop your strengths through hardship
“Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength.”
— Arnold Schwarzenegger
Our program at G-Force CrossFit has two main focuses: building strength & power; building fitness and muscular endurance. Most days in our programming, we have a strength component and a fitness component. Nothing is random. Everything is planned. However, it is planned in a way to better prepare you for what CrossFit is all about: constantly varied movement, broad time, high intensity, the unknown.
Time and time again we’ve planted the idea of commitment into your minds. Commit to the program, commit to your coaches, commit to your clean and healthy eating habits and SHOCK! Oh my goodness, you’ve improved your fitness and your overall health.
Our program is hard. There are no doubts about it. But very little that’s easy is worth fighting for. The things in life that are worth fighting for are hard, and in the end, you’ll be better for it. As Arnie puts it, your struggles and your hardships without you surrendering is what will make you strong.
Christmas, holidays and summer are coming. It’s going to be a busy time of year, but we ask that you continue to show up, continue to commit, and we can guarantee you a better you. Oh, and don’t fret; we’ll have the fans on during summer.
Below are your recent personal bests. You guys are once again smashing it. Keep at it!
Don’t forget our Christmas party on the 17th of December. Information is up on the posters in the gym. Start organising your scariest costumes!
See you all in the gym.
