The G-Force Source: Happy Holidays!

The G-Force Source: Happy Holidays!

“My idea of Christmas, whether old-fashioned or modern, is very simple: loving others. Come to think of it, why do we have to wait for Christmas to do that?”
— Bob Hope

Christmas time is near and already the hearts of the cold have turned to gold and frowns have begun to turn upside down. Christmas time is the time of giving; not necessarily giving in material things but giving from within.

G-Force CrossFit has adopted that mindset with the gift of giving to the less fortunate. Our Christmas tree in the gym has presents galore under it and they’re all being donated to the Salvation Army. Thank you to everyone who donated gifts. You’re all going to make someone’s Christmas time so much better.

We extend our best wishes, our happiest of holidays, our most merry of Christmas’ and the happiest new year to you all. Enjoy your times with your families, friends and other loved ones. As Bob Hope says, don’t wait for Christmas to do it. Continue that mindset, continue giving, continue turning frowns upside down all year round. That’s the G-Force way. Make it yours!

Before we part ways until we return for another year of blogging in 2017, we have some highlights, news and announcements we want to share with you.

highlights

G-Force welcomed some new little humans into the world in 2016. Congratulations to Seb and Rosa with their new little girl Valentina; congratulations to Brenna and Kat and their future CrossFit champion Jaxson; and Big Will and Emma on little Buddy. Courtney and Eli got engaged, as did Head Coach Glen and his bride-to-be Brooke.

One of our greatest highlights for the year is you, the members, the blue G-Force army and all that you’ve achieved. In 2016, we’ve highlighted countless new personal bests. Some of these were not planned but most others during our maxing sessions. We’ve seen some great progress from so many of you, and that’s why we keep doing what we do. We want to see you improve, and not just in fitness and in health, but in your overall quality of life. The improvements we do see in you though in fitness and in health go towards that better overall lifestyle, so keep doing what you’re doing in the gym, keep letting us coach you, and keep coming back to G-Force.
