25 Jan The G-Force Source: We started a RIOT
CrossFit Gosford hosted its annual RIOT competition, and as usual, G-Force traversed the roads of New South Wales to go and throw some weight around. Nine of our fine and divine competed, and we’re extremely pleased with their efforts over the grueling weekend. Notable finishes include Jak finishing the advanced females category in 4th place, Ali M finishing the female masters in 6th place, and Josh in 9th place in the open males category. A big round of applause also goes out to Kate, Seb, Little Lauren, Steve, Anton and Justin for their efforts.
The next big competition that’s coming our way is the CrossFit Ingleburn BURNOUT team competition. That takes place on the 17th of April, and registrations are open. If you want to compete, speak to Glen and organise your registration as soon as possible.
Preceding BURNOUT is the CrossFit Open, which currently remains our main focus. Our daily WODs are designed to help prepare you for the workouts starting at the end of February. Please register as we’d like to see everyone participate.
Not many of you would know her, but for those that have trained at 4pm, you would have been acquainted with one of our fighting machines. Kay is someone who puts us younger athletes to shame. She is older than most of us, but that doesn’t stop her for achieving great things. Kay has recently qualified to be a part of the Aussie team for the world cup of dragonboat racing. She has represented the country previously and won, and now she’s doing it all over again. Kay is awesome. Be like Kay.
